I studied B.A.Sociology (1976-1979) in our Great Institution. Prof.A.V.Krishnamurthy (Economics) was our Principal. My classmate became the Union Chairman during the academic year 1978-1979. My classmate became the Union Secretary during the academic year 1977-1978. We had hostel facility. More students in and around Madurai villages got admission and studied higher education through our Institution. Students of Sociology got placement in various fields in the society.

Dear Alumnus,
Greetings.
The Madura College Board has initiated lot of steps to improve, modernise and add new features in the campus. With the effort of the Board, 42 new class rooms have been augmented to have the self financing college to work almost parallely with the autonomous stream. The old PG Hostel Building is about to be renovated to additional labs and class rooms for enabling the Self finance stream college also to start in the morning itself, from next academic year.

It is a very good initiative and pleasant surprise. Keep it up. I studied B.com in this great college (1985-88) and went on further to become CA. Having specialised in IT for more than 2 decades I work as Group CIO in UPL Limited. Recently we had get together and had wonderful experience.
